Drive
Overview
Drive is the main view in Brick HQ — a familiar folder tree of everything you've stored in Brick. Create folders, upload files by dropping them onto the page, and open a file straight from the browser to preview it.
Views
Alongside your regular folders, Brick HQ has a few dedicated views for finding files faster:
- Shared
Files and folders that have been shared with you, or that you've shared with others. - Starred
Anything you've starred for quick access, regardless of which folder it lives in. - Photos
Photos and videos backed up automatically by the Android app, browsable as a gallery. - Trash
Deleted files and folders, kept recoverable until they're permanently removed. - Storage
Your account's storage quota and how much of it is currently in use.
File versions
Every time a file is overwritten, Brick keeps the previous version rather than discarding it. You can always go back and restore an earlier version of a file from its details panel.
Deleting files
Deleting a file or folder in Brick HQ moves it to Trash rather than removing it immediately, so it stays recoverable if you change your mind. This applies no matter which app you delete from — the CLI and Desktop app follow the same rule when they sync a local deletion.
